Composition and performance for the theatre play / performance SOIL is lava: Gebete auf dem nackten Boden, conceived and directed by Franziska Wenning. Performed on April 25th 2026 at the Akademie der Künsten, Berlin.
Most of the sounds used for this work have been recorded during the rehearsals. Sounds of bodies moving, of fabric dancing, of steps, wood and plastic used throughout the piece. A visual score, reproducing the movements of the performers, was driving the sound performance (using the software Iannix for the visual part and SuperCollider for the actual sound production). An interplay of rhythms (re-)producing and activating a space.
